It Came!

Rachel's passport came in the mail today! How exciting! My police clearance letter came too without the embossed stamp. So just like in John's case, I had to call and leave a message for them to please correct it. Hopefully they will.

Thank you for all of the encouraging comments lately.... your support is a huge blessing.

Hi Christine,

Have you confirmed that Rachel can, in fact, travel to Ukraine on her US Passport? Back in the days when a VISA was required for US citizens, our adopted children were required to use their Ukrainian passports. Note that insde the US Passport it states Rachel's place of birth as Ukraine; if they notice that whle going through customs, it may cause Rachel a problem. Of course, coming home, she should enter on her US Passport.

I just wanted to make sure you had looked into that...just in case.

When we traveled back to Ukraine, we used Alex's U.S. passport only. No problems. Of course, he was only six...now if he'd been sixteen and near military service age, I'd have not taken him at all!
