Life is Good

Today is a much better day. Amazing what a full night's sleep can do for the body and mind. We are all doing well and are about to head off to the movies.

Lots of pictures to come after we do fireworks tonight.

Hope you all have a wonderful Fourth of July!

Sounds like a wonderful way to spend your first day together as a family. Although we're all dying to see pics, we'll patiently await while you spend good quality time as a complete family and get some much needed rest. :)

Blessings,
Laura

Just catching up on your blog, as we were in your home state of CA for the 4th. I know you needed to keep your location private, but oh how I wish we'd have known you were in Artemovsk! (We recognized the court building in the photo.) That's where we adopted Isabel from last October, and we have been trying to find a good way to get a report and pictures back to her caregivers at the baby house there. I sort of wondered if you might be there, as you had mentioned seeing several disabled people out and about. We had seen them as well, and that was the only Ukrainian town where we've ever seen that be the case. And we could have sent you to have zharkoya at Ploos Cafe for cheap! Anyways, glad you made it home safely and happy that we now have one more thing in common! Blessings and quick time zone adjustments to you all!
