In Kiev!

We made it to Kiev! And going through customs was a breeze compared to previous trips. I guess our smaller flight into Kiev resulting in less people going through customs and having to pick-up luggage balanced with our two layovers. Our Ukraine "connections" whom I prefer to refer to as our friends picked us up immediately and took us to a nice apartment within walking distance to TGI Fridays. It was there that we met up with five other adoptive families including the Doves, Urbans, Loraines, Thibaults, and Enbergs. It was quite the party!

John is asleep next to me and Internet is incredibly slow so I could not upload pictures-- though I tried--- really hard. Oh well, I'll post them tomorrow!

I think we have already walked over a mile and I am pretty tired myself.

Tomorrow morning is our SDA appointment along with the Dove family. We look forward to sharing exciting news with you!

P.S. The weather couldn't be better-- I heard last week was a scorcher! It is such a blessing to be back. To even think about meeting A and P in two days is such a treat!

Hope you all sleep well tonight and that the jet lag won't be too bad.

How nice that you met up with other adoptive families and had dinner at the American restaurant.
